Terry Gaulrapp, Partner
Terry has worked in nearly every facet of the construction industry in his over 20 years in business. His hands-on experience in everything from design to scheduling to building and finishing give him unparalleled knowledge and understanding of how the process works.
On any given day you’ll find Terry meeting with clients, estimating or managing projects, and overseeing Highmark finances. He enjoys the opportunity to work closely with clients to create the spaces that will transform and enrich their families’ lives. Highmark’s strong culture of ethics and teamwork is a direct result of his leadership.
Terry has a B.S. in Construction Management from Mankato State University. He subsequently spent five years at Ryan Companies as a Project Manager for both residential and commercial construction projects. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as many outdoor sports.
Terry is married to Sara and father to Adrianna, Riley and Addison.

Jim Moras, Partner
Jim learned about the inner workings of houses at an early age from his dad, who was both a plumber and electrician. That interest blossomed into a career that has spanned two decades and included stints with commercial as well as residential construction firms from the Twin Cities to L.A. Jim loves going to work every day, meeting new clients and taking on new challenges.
He particularly enjoys using his gift for design to create homes that combine beauty with unique functionality. It’s also important to Jim that Highmark offers a warm, open and family-oriented environment where people can thrive in their positions. He and partner Terry work hard to recruit the best people and make it a place that they want to stay.
Jim has a B.S. in Construction Management from Mankato State University. He enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering on building projects in Central and South America through his church.
He is married to Katie, a Spanish teacher, and the father of Courtney, Cody and Andrés.

Nathan Carlson, Project Development
Nathan hits many notes working in sales for Highmark. Experienced in all areas of construction, he is detailed, organized, honest and funny—it’s not surprising that he creates special relationships with clients. Nathan counts project management and insurance work among his specialties, and is certified in lead detection as well as installing GAF, James Hardie and LP SmartSide products. He values the integrity at Highmark as well as the family-oriented culture.
Nathan is married to musician Molly Dean, and enjoys playing guitar and connecting with his Native American heritage.
Matt Eastman, Project Manager
Matt brings over a decade of field experience to Highmark along with a degree in Construction Project Management. As a Project Manager, Matt likes being involved in different aspects of the building process, from design to scheduling to sitting down with clients.
When he’s not climbing ladders or checking tasks off a punch list, Matt enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife Ashley and their daughters Chloe and Denver.
Dan Archambault, Warranty Manager
Dan has been with Highmark Builders since the early days and is a crucial team member. With two decades of construction experience, Dan enjoys that no two homes are the same and that he is constantly able to work with different homeowners. An all-around skilled Carpenter, he's got the best one-liners around (we call them Arch-isms).
Married to Kristi, and father to Lauren and Hunter. Dan enjoys muskie fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling in the Rocky Mountains.
John Wallace, Design & Marketing
John graduated from University of Minnesota with a degree in Graphic Design. He has experience in several areas of design, as well as marketing, photo and video. His love for technology and design create an easy fit for his role at Highmark. John enjoys working out, music, movies, being outside and hanging out with his dog Louis.
Kristen Schammel, Interior Designer
Kristen is a highly skilled and talented designer who loves working with clients to bring their spaces to life. She enjoys designing cabinetry, working with tile and selecting countertops and lighting, all of which she uses to bring color and texture into her rooms. Kristen’s knowledge of all phases of design and construction make her an invaluable resource. Kristen holds a B.A. in Interior Design and Construction Management from Mankato State University.
She and husband Tim are parents to two beautiful girls.
Callie Brandon, Interior Designer
Callie loves helping clients create beautiful homes, as well as understand how design works in their home on an everyday level. She reminds us that our surroundings impact our lives more than we realize, and that wisely imagined surroundings can help us thrive. Callie’s expertise helps Highmark clients enjoy their new homes to the fullest.
In her spare time, Callie enjoys reading, going to plays, bike riding, and spending time with her husband Jordan, their daughter Quinn, and her Yorkshire Terrier Milo.
Christina Schumacher, Interior Designer
Christina’s love of color, patterns, and bold texture bring a bright personality to the Highmark team. Her passion for interior design has sparked for as long as she can remember and she enjoys watching a project go from start to finish. This is why she chose to go to the University of Wisconsin- Stout to get a BFA in Interior Design and minor in Business Administration.
In her free time, she enjoys tennis, crafting, traveling, and cooking. She also loves adventuring to the “newest hotspot” in the area to see what it is all about.
Morgan Morrill, Interior Design Assistant
Morgan’s appreciation for unique and exquisite spaces has created her love for design as long as she can remember. While she loves the charming aesthetic side of design, she also admires the functional and practical side. Morgan’s favorite aspect is to help people see their home from a different view. In her free time, Morgan loves to shop and spend time outdoors. She likes fishing but she does not bait her own hook or take the fish off.
Melissa Dieckmann, Office Manager and Project Administrator
An energetic and highly capable multi-tasker, Melissa runs the office and has the scoop on everything Highmark. It’s often said that if Melissa doesn’t know where to find it, it doesn’t exist—that’s how organized she is. She credits Highmark’s success with the company’s family approach to business and commitment to building long-term client relationships. Melissa received her degree in Business Management and Business Administration from Rasmussen College.
In her spare time, she loves tracking down great deals for clients and spending time with her husband Chris and their 2 sons Caleb and Cooper.
Melissa Anderson, Admin
Melissa has a degree in communication with 20 years of customer service experience. She is drawn to Highmark's core values and overall atmosphere of the company. Melissa is excited about the variety of tasks and opportunity to grown and learn. She has a 14 year old son and 6 year old daughter and enjoys boating on Prior Lake, motorcycles, fairs, reading and hanging out with her 2 kids and pets.
Claire Coffman, Admin
Claire brings great experience to the Highmark team, working as the receptionist for a childrends dental office for 15 years. She enjoys meeting new people and welcoming people into the office. Claire is married to husband Gabe and has 2 children and loves to spend time at the lake with them. She has a Gernan Shepard named Clyde and a cat named Cupcake.
Becca Borowicz, Human Resources
A former substitute teacher, Becca is an expert at corralling details and making sure everything is in order. If meaningful looks don’t produce a desired result, she just reminds everyone that she also has a black belt in karate. In her spare time, Becca enjoys movies, biking, snowboarding and spending time with husband Colton and 2 sons Boden and Breyer.
Jason Hoernke, Project Manager
As a Project Manager for Highmark, Jason is responsible for overseeing a new construction or remodeling project from start to finish. He enjoys the high level of detail that characterizes Highmark homes, especially trim work, and the challenge of coordinating the many activities going on at once within the framework of a schedule. Jason has a B.S. in Construction Management from Mankato State University.
He and his wife Jaimi enjoy spending time with their son, Brexton.
Jason Long, Job Supervisor
Jason has over twenty years of experience in the construction field. His specialties include finished and rough carpentry, custom decks, and flooring. When he is not at work, Jason enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, three children, and three dogs. Though he is a dad and an adult, Jason is a kid at heart and loves to make people laugh.
Matt Kruckeberg, Project Manager
Matt brings 20 years of Construction Management experience to Highmark. From new construction to remodeling projects, he enjoys it all. Especially seeing how new additions tie back to existing homes. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting.
Joel Gaulrapp, Project Manager
Joel’s responsibilities include overseeing job sites to ensure that no detail is missed and to create a positive experience for clients. Joel has been with Highmark for over 5 years and holds a degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin. When he’s not on the job, Joel enjoys hockey and spending time with his wife Ashley.
Eric DeBruzzi, Project Manager
A former carpenter, Eric joined Highmark because he wanted to be part of a team that, in his words, “has the knowledge and skills to do the highest quality work.” Eric loves seeing projects go from start to finish and in his spare time he enjoys reading Vince Flynn novels.
Andy Browne, Project Manager
Andy graduated from Bethel University and has been in the construction field for 6 years. He enjoys the interaction and relationships with clients as well as seeing a concept become a reality. The vision and high standards are what brought Andy to Highmark. In his free time Andy likes to spend time at the lake being outdoors, skiing and wakeboarding. A fun fact about Andy is that he drives a zamboni at the Eden Prarie Community Center.
Kari Stewart, Project Administrator
Kari has been in the field for over 10 years and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Interior Design. She enjoys the diversity of the job and the family feel at Highmark. Kari is married to husband Greg who is a Police Officer and Fireman. They have have 2 kids Maci Lynn and Marli Grace. She grew up on a Dairy Farm and was a Carver County Dairy Princess from 2007-2009.
Eric Fasnacht, Project Manager
Eric graduated with a degree in buisiness management from Concordia-St. Paul. He enjoys working as a project manager because of the satisfaction of starting and completing a new job. Eric was drawn to Highmark because of the quality of work. He loves to fish and be up north, golf and also plays baseball for the Minnetonka Millers. Eric also enjoys volunteering at fishing for ducks, a fundraiser by Ducks Unlimited.
Lee Pflug, Project Manager
Lee brings 15 years of exeprience in the field to Highmark. He enjoys building relationships and making customers happy. Lee was drawn to Highmark because of the postivie attitude and drive of the people in the company. He is married and has a daughter. In his free time he loves to do anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting - as well training hunting dogs.
Jeremy Gregorich, Carpenter
Jeremy has been working in construction since he was 12 years old. He finds great satisfaction in watching each home project progress and gets a kick out of how excited the homeowners get. Jeremy and wife Amanda are parents to Hannah Rose and Mason.
In his spare time Jeremy loves to practice jiu-jitsu, play with the family dog, Nellie, and read.
Nick Schorn, Carpenter
Nick brings his hard work, dedication and experience to the Highmark team. He loves working with his hands and enjoys building something from the ground up. Nick spends his free time hunting, fishing, wood working and just about anything outdoors. It was his love for the outdoors that earned him the nickname "Big Country".
Sean Steinberg, Carpenter
Sean has been working in contrustion since he was 15, and also has a carpentry degree from South Central College. He came to Highmark because of his interest in the style of homes. Sean loves the hands on work and feeling of accomplishment when a job is finished. An avid outdoorsman, Sean loves spending time hunting and fishing with his girlfriend Meagan.
Chris Bachinski, Carpenter
Chris brings 12 years of carpentry experience to the Highmark team. He enjoys seeing each project from start to finish with the highlight being the homeowners smile when the job is complete. When Chris is not at work he loves to be outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing and especially time at the cabin.
Lola, Greeter and Stress Reduction Specialist
A Black Lab, Lola spends her days welcoming visitors and positioning herself strategically for optimum petting (don’t be shy). In her free time she enjoys chasing tennis balls, snoozing and bird hunting with her human, Jim Moras.
Chloe, Physical Therapist
This sunny Lab girl is Terry’s family fur-kid and Lola’s BFF, but she’ll quickly be your friend too, particularly if you have a tennis ball. At work, Chloe makes sure Lola gets enough exercise; in her off hours she enjoys hunting, walks in the park, swimming and shedding.
