Giving back in ways both large and small is a priority for Highmark. We’re very thankful for the communities in which we work; in 2011, nearly 80% of our business came from referrals. We just wouldn’t be where we are without the support of our friends, families and communities.

Making the holidays merrier for a family in need.

This holiday season, Highmark participated in the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family program. The photo at right shows how our employees stepped up to help our chosen family celebrate with gifts for each child and funds for a festive meal.

Thanks to all who participated and to the Salvation Army for providing so much to so many, this year and every year.
